Educational Opportunities
Rawlins County Health Center offers people with diabetes (PWD) and their families a complete program to help them understand the disease process of diabetes. We also provide the knowledge and basic tools for diabetes care, including healthy eating, being active, monitoring, taking medication, problem-solving, healthy coping, and reducing risks.
All of these services are provided by RCHC health professionals including a registered nurse/certified diabetes educator and a registered dietitian/certified diabetes educator.
Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas, and most other major health insurance carriers cover these services.
