Cardiopulmonary Services

Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab

Cardiac Rehab is an outpatient service for patients that have been diagnosed with a heart disorder or have had a cardiac event, which include but are not limited to, Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Heart Attack, Stent Placement, Valve Replacement, and Cardiac Bypass. Patients get an individualized treatment plan that includes exercise and education to improve heart function, endurance, energy, and overall health. 

Pulmonary Rehab is an outpatient service for patients that have been diagnosed with Moderate to Severe COPD. Patients get an individualized treatment plan that includes exercise and education to improve lung function, endurance, energy, and overall health.

 

Respiratory Therapy

The Respiratory Therapy department has Registered Respiratory Therapists that provide inpatient and outpatient Aerosol therapy, Medical gas therapy, Lung Expansion and Airway Adjunct therapy, Pulmonary Function Testing, Exercise and Overnight Oximetry Testing. 

We have therapists that are also Certified Asthma Educators and provide Asthma Education to adults and pediatrics.  The  department also has Outpatient Bronchiolitis Clinic for infants and peds that have been diagnosed with RSV or Bronchiolitis where they are provided with breathing treatments and airway clearance if needed.
